Launching Clients

Launch an account

Double-click any account in the list, or:

Select account(s)Launch Selected

On launch GW Launcher:

  1. Starts that account’s Gw.exe (as administrator if Run elevated is set).
  2. Logs in with the saved email/password — except Steam accounts, where Steam handles login.
  3. Injects any DLL plugins and TexMods for that account.
  4. Renames the game window to the account’s Title (or character name).

The Status column tracks progress: Launching → Active.

Launch a plain client

To start a Guild Wars client with no account login and no mods — useful for making a fresh copy log in manually, or testing — use:

Right-click the listLaunch Default GW Client

Multiple at once

Select several accounts (Ctrl/Shift-click) and Launch Selected, or just double-click each in turn. Each needs its own game installation — see Run Multiple Accounts.
